Wordologies Inspirational Journals and Notepads, Review & Giveaway

by EJ on 12/18/12

"For big thoughts, little lists, daydreams or doodles." The Wordologies website, which offers products like journals, notepads, coffee mugs and magnets bearing inspirational words and messages, is also a place where you can share personal stories of awakening or transformation. Their simple products are meant to inspire and energize the mind and spirit, calling us to Be positive. Eliminate self-criticism. You choose your feelings and actions. Come alive. You’re worth it!

I come from a family of writers and artists. My mother has always given me blank journals as gifts, with beautiful covers and empty pages waiting to be filled. This is one gift I've never minded getting over and over again. Inside every journal, she always copies down great, moving quotes for me to discover as I write. Naturally, the Wordologies message of enlightenment and transformation really speaks to me. Obviously, Wordologies creators Juliane and DeAnn are women who think along the same vein as my mother and I. Words inspire. Words transform us. We connect with this world and to each other through words... and what better gift for the writer, thinker, artist, philosopher in your life!?

The product description for the Wordologies journal trio reads: What’s more luscious than the potential within a brand-new journal? Such dizzying possibility, so much space for creation (or grocery lists, sure). I love this. I've filled countless journals since I was little, with poetry, ideas for book plots, characters, quotes that move me. There's really something magical about an empty journal. The covers of each Wordologies journal reads either "be where you are. mindfulness matters", "contentment completes. not money. not power. not fame", and "tranquility triumphs. when the world wants more. give less". Each 100% recycled journal contains 40 lined pages and measures 6 by 8.5 inches. They're a great size for sticking in my purse or the baby's diaper bag.

There are fourteen Wordologies notepads to choose from. I received "you're ok. you always were. confidence calms.", "in time. patience prevails. answers come", "giving gains. magnify goodness", and "wisdom widens. nourish the mind". These are really great messages. Each notepad measures at 4.25 by 5.5 inches and includes 100 blank pages with a funky motif along the bottom.

I'm not sure if this counts but speaks to me: As the old adage says, “There are two sides to every story.” The same holds true for perspective…there is always something new to notice.

Your mom, your grandmother, your aunts, and you all have a remarkable gift for words - you use them so well.
