Here's what's going on this August at the National Constitution Center in Philly:

Event: WXPN "Funky Friday Dance Party" with David Dye
Friday, August 3, 2012, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Doors open at 4:00 p.m.)
Event Admission: FREE. Registration required: http://xpn.org/funky-dance-party
Guests can access From Asbury Park to the Promised Land: The Life and Music of Bruce Springsteen for $10
Let the funk out with WXPN Radio DJ David Dye as he broadcasts his popular Friday drive-time show "Funky Friday with David Dye" live from the National Constitution Center. Guests will dance the night away to popular funk hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and more. Admission is free; guests can enjoy after-hours access to the Center's hit exhibition From Asbury Park to the Promised Land: The Life and Music of Bruce Springsteen for just $10.  

Documentary Screening: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band: Blood Brothers
Wednesday, August 15, 2012, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Event Admission: $20 for non-members, $15 for members; includes access to From Asbury Park to the Promised Land: The Life and Music of Bruce Springsteen

The National Constitution Center's Springsteen Special Events series concludes with a documentary screening of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band: Blood Brothers.  The film by Ernie Fritz chronicles recording sessions that took place in 1995 when Springsteen and the E Street Band reunited in New York's Hit Factory for their first studio session together in 11 years since their work on Born in the U.S.A.  Guests can enjoy concessions and evening access to From Asbury Park to the Promised Land.
